Winter Session

Winter is my favorite time of a year for family session!

I am mostly known as newborn and maternity photographer in Indianapolis, IN, but, you should know how much I actually enjoy family photo winter sessionwinter family session at Holiday Park Indianapolis IN sessions as well! You would think that winter would be a slow time of a year for any photographer just because the temperature dropped down, well, not for me. As soon as the ground is covered with snow, you will find me at local parks looking for perfect spot: snowy landscapes create an amazing view for family portraits.

So far one of my favorite places is a Holiday Park, located  just few miles north of Indianapolis downtown...This place is wonderful for hiking, walking, running the dog, has a lot of evergreen trees, which is perfect for family session during the holidays, it has a lot of hidden spots, amazing magnolia trees and wildflowers during the spring.

My family sessions are about capturing emotions and natural moments. I want you be yourself, be goofy and have fun, I want my session be fun and stress free!

Keep in mind, when taking winter photos, dress accordingly: several layers under your coat, to keep you warm, add colorful scarves and hats to give your photos character. Choose clothing and accessory colors that will stand out against the background of winter colors. Bright and rich colors are great choices: I love the way red and purple look during those sessions.
