Happy First Birthday, Baby Ethan!
Someone asked me before: What do I enjoy more the cake smashes or newborn photo sessions?
I truly enjoy newborn photo sessions, I love that parents are trusting me by bringing their the most precious new babies; I love wrapping them into little sacks and adjust their little fingers on the beam bag to get that perfect pose; I know I can secure angles and poses by adding little posing pillows;
While cake smash photo shoots are completely different vibes and feelings!
You never know what you are getting into with babies who are about to turn one: will they "destroy" the cake completely or leave it untouched? I don't have control from them running/crawling away from the designed for a cake smash area neither can "secure" the pose; all I can do is go with the flow of trying to keep child occupied and interested :)
